about me

I was made to play in flower fields, sit beneath trees and follow my heart.

How I create

I am guided by intuition, connected deeply to nature, and driven by conscious creativity.

There’s a quiet power in the way I create. I understand, I feel, and I bring visions to life with an effortless flow. When someone asks me to create, it’s as though something within me stirs, and the work begins naturally, as essential as breathing.

Through everything I create, I aim to reveal the beauty that already surrounds us, waiting to be seen.

My photography is grounding and full of warmth—like the soothing, crackling sound of a bonfire—rooted in a desire to bring light into dark corners, revealing the beauty that lies within. An invitation to experience life through a lens of sensitivity, gentleness, and beauty.

My journey as a photographer

I first picked up photography during my communication design studies, completely unaware of the incredible, wild ride that lay ahead. Creating this little timeline was quite moving—time flies! I hope you’ll enjoy being my co-traveler for the next few minutes.

Three songs in
the photo pit

During my time as a concert photographer, primarily at heavy metal festivals and gigs, I found myself in what felt like my own photography school. Immersed in the raw energy of live music, I learned to navigate unpredictable lighting and capture the fleeting, essential moments and emotions that defined each performance. At most concerts, a photographer is only given the time of 3 songs to take their shots. Imagine the screaming crowd behind your back, the roaring band in front and right next to you a whole bunch of other photographers crammed in in the narrow photo pit – all competing for “the perfect shot”. Quite an intense experience – and I loved every second of it!

The two faces of the fashion world

As I transitioned from concert photography into the fashion and beauty industry, even running my own model agency, it felt like a natural next step on my path. My leadership skills flourished, and countless opportunities as a photographer opened up. However, I quickly realised that the glittery, performance-driven world wasn’t for me. Despite the success, I felt disconnected from its polished surface, craving something deeper and more authentic that resonated with my creative essence.

What is strength, really?

It all started with a little ad from Anastasia Umrik: she was looking for photographers to support her vision. As a woman living with amyotrophia all her life, she had faced continuous underestimation and discrimination. Her dream was to create a photo project that showed society that women like her—physically disabled and seemingly fragile, were still strong in mind and heart and definitely capable of leading their lives in a creative and fulfilling way. Naturally, I joined her mission.

As a photographer for the anderStark project, I was deeply moved by the courage and strength of every woman involved. Each shoot became more than just a session; it was a space for authentic expression and storytelling. This project allowed me to connect with people on a deep emotional level, and needless to say, I grew a lot through the experience. My new client work and personal projects began to reflect this growth.

We were quite successful, too. The project was exhibited across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, launched with a vernissage and fashion show that attracted over 600 guests. Numerous press releases followed, but most importantly, the project inspired widespread love and understanding for our subject.

2013 - 2023

Of pigeons
and heather

What began as a personal series to help me process and overcome heartache and depression gradually evolved into a broader theme. My photography became fine art, carrying a poetic, soft, and sometimes melancholic tone, deeply rooted in my connection to nature. When you look at one of my photographs, it’s like reading a poem—an invitation to enjoy, reflect, and become still. Breathe in and out. Ask yourself: Do I love myself? Do I have compassion for myself? Do I allow myself to receive, surrender, and flow?

Capturing
yin energy

The flow of my photographic work, which I lovingly call “visual poetry,” continues:

Yin, the feminine principle in Chinese natural philosophy, represents tranquility, rest, and receiving. In contrast, Yang, the masculine principle, symbolizes movement, action, and giving. The motifs in this series are slow and poetic, like a gentle breeze brushing through your hair. In a society driven by Yang energy, where values like performance, speed, and action are emphasized, my photographic work invites you to pause for a moment and create space for introspection.

This overarching mission to create safe spaces for stillness, individual beauty, and authenticity naturally extends into my client work. In my portrait shoots—whether for individuals or brands—I aim to capture the essence of each person, revealing a facet rooted in trust, joy, and calmness.
